I love Being a Mom

I love being a Mom. It is seriously the hardest and most gut-wrenching job I have ever had, but I feel so blessed to have three healthy children.

About ten years ago or so, Mike and I thought we would not be able to have children. But thankfully my God is bigger than any little ovary issue and we have been blessed with three precious babes. I am so thankful for my big boys and my little girl.

Parenting this angel is certainly not an easy task but I am so thankful for him. Often my "hands are full" with my three babes, but I would rather have a big armful of children than empty arms. I remember that feeling ten years ago when I thought my arms would never cradle babies, but 11 years and three babies later, I am honored when people tell me that my hands are full. Yes indeed they are, and I would not have it any other way.
My eldest babe has taught me how to be a mother. With him I learned that amazing feeling of unconditional love. He taught me that I can do anything with only a few hours of sleep and to trust my instincts. My second babe has taught me lots and lots of different life lessons that I am still learning today. I am so thankful that because of Dave I see the world much differently and that I am a better person because he is in my life. My youngest babe has reminded me to enjoy every single second because it goes by so fast. With her I am appreciating every single moment because I now see how fast time does fly. My girl has also taught me all things girly and because of her I now know all my princesses:)
These three angels coupled with their Daddy make me a very, very happy and blessed woman.
On this Mother's Day I am thankful that indeed my hands are full. I know so many that would love to hear the word "Mommy" and I praise God everyday for the reminder of his grace in my life.
So today on Mother's Day I praise God for allowing me the opportunity to raise three children to honor Him.

Wonderful Day!!

What a difference a day makes!! Yesterday was one of the worst days ever-just a mess of lost keys, lost Blackberry, and other random things which made for a long day. Today, however, has so far been nothing but amazing!!!

Today was Special Games day for David and all his friends!! We saw old and new friends-it was so special. Here are some pictures of the parade at the beginning. Special Games is something you just have to experience for yourself-it is so emotional, fun, amazing, and overall just plain fun.

This picture totally melts my heart. This is always such an emotional day for me-I wish I could put it into words how blessed I feel to have a special games athlete. I know God chose us to parent David and I just am so humbled and thankful that he is in our life. Raising David is not easy for sure with his strong-will, but I am just so thankful. Here is my boy giving it his all and I am such a proud Momma cheering for him on the sidelines as I wipe away my tears of joy.

After Special Games I had to rush back to preschool for the Mother's Day tea! My aide, Ms. Brandi had the children all ready to escort their Mommy's to their chair to be served. It was super fun!

So far today has been nearly perfect. Tonight I am going out on the town with some good friends and I am looking forward to that. I have had such a fun day cheering on my awesome David and enjoying preschool with my favorite girl. I am a blessed, blessed Mommy.

Another DAy in Paradise

Today Kyle had three soccer games in Bristol. As several of our friends got out of their cars someone said "another day in paradise!" Yesterday I sat with some of my same friends at baseball all day and today we were out to cheer on our boys in soccer-I love every minute of this sports-crazed life.

Speaking of paradise, here are my two youngest being as cute as they know how to be. I love it Hope's expression!

My girl can yell "whoo whoo" with the best of them and she loves cheering her brothers on.

Here is my super tall soccer player smiling for the camera. He loves my new sports lens as much as I do! Just this weekend playing baseball and now soccer I can tell that he has recently had a growth spurt AGAIN.

I am tired, sunburned, but oh so happy that we had such a fun weekend cheering on both of our boys and spending time with good friends. Life is indeed good, now back to the real world:)
