I so wish that I had pictures of our day at Water Country. But, my big expensive camera did not need to accompany us to the water park. There were often times that the stroller was left alone, and since Kyle's brand new under armor flips got stolen, then I am sure my Nikon would have. He only owned those poor flip flops 24 hours before someone stole them:( Super sad-so we will have to make another stop at the Under Armor outlet before we come home.
Anyway, the day was a blast!! It was super hot, but we literally stayed wet all day. Every ride that David could ride he did and LOVED it!! We are so proud of how brave he has gotten:) Of course Mike and Kyle did everything they could and loved it.
Water Country is great for families because there are little play areas for Hope's age on up to big, fast rides for big boys like Mike. We almost stayed until closing time-way longer than I ever anticipated!!
Today is Busch Gardens. Kyle is excited about the countries and roller coasters and Hope and David are excited to see Elmo!! I will take a ton of pictures today to make up for yesterday-I felt naked without my camera! HA!

Williamsburg Day#1
So far this trip has been busy but fun. It is super hot and humid here so we are looking forward to Water Country today so we can stay cool. We toured Colonial Williamsburg last night at dark and it was still so hot and humid. We had a yummy dinner at Olive Garden and we got to do some great outlet shopping when we got to town.
At dark last night we toured around Colonial Williamsburg. It was hot but it was a good way to burn some energy from driving all day. The boys had not been to Colonial Williamsburg so it was fun to let them see how life used to be. I love this picture above of Hope and David outside one of the historic homes. Just before this picture was taken, David opened the gate and yelled "come out darlin!" Oh my!
Now this is an interesting idea for discipline....maybe we should try this at home!! His little face above does look pitiful:)

Mike and all our babes in front of the ammunition house in Colonial Williamsburg.
My sweet boys...Kyle has been in super helper mode this summer and I love how he helps with David. David is also proudly wearing his new David shirt that he got for his birthday:)
I should have taken pictures of all my purchases at under Armor and Gymboree, but that would be a little bit embarrassing:) It was actually so hot, that I did not hit the whole mall-shocking I know! I still hope to hit Hanna Anderson before I leave, but the Crocs outlet was a big disappointment. I had heard that there were crocs there for $5, but no. I actually think the prices were higher there than at home.
Off to Water Country!!

On The Road
We hit the road this morning for a fun family trip! We tried hard to make it to Myrtle Beach with my brother and his family, but that was just not in the cards for us:) We could not find anywhere to stay remotely near their hotel. So we fell back on plan B and we are now bound for Williamsburg!!
The boys are super excited about going to Busch Gardens and Water Country and hopefully we can hit the outlets. This morning it has been a rough start to our travels-about 10 miles down the interstate Hope had a poop explosion that necessitated a stop at my moms for a quick bath and wardrobe change. Thankfully GG keeps clothes at her house for the kiddos and after a stop we are now back on the road!
Our original plan was to do the Nick Hotel in Orlando this summer. But, because we did the renovation downstairs unexpectedly, we decided to not head to Florida until next summer. Thank goodness for that!! I am not clear why I thought that Hope could handle a ten hour ride this summer-just the five hours to Williamsburg is going to take us all day with ten million stops in between:)
