Spring

I absolutely adore this time of year! My calendar is full but I love it! We are in full sports mode around here with David's Tball and soccer games, Kyle's travel soccer stuff and baseball. This is also the busy time of year where we have lots of meetings for David such as his IEP meeting and annual review for case management. This weekend will be full as well but it is all good because it is all FUN! Saturday David will finally get to have his Tball game and we also have the church Easter egg hunt. Sunday is our Down Syndrome Easter egg hunt from 2-4 at Chilhowie Elementary! All are invited to this wonderful time with our Down Syndrome group. All our events are open to ANYONE that knows and loves someone with DS. Please bring a snack to share and be ready for a fun easter egg hunt and Miss Ashley will be face painting! Sunday evening at church there is a family event called Journey to the Cross teaching children on their level about what Easter is all about. I am so excited for this weekend as we begin the preparation to celebrate Jesus' glorious ressurection! Spring is full of fun and family time-my two favorite things:)
