Thursday Update
We have made it home. It is so nice to have some level of normalcy. The kids enjoyed our stay in Charlottesville but we are all so glad to be home for Easter.
We pray David will continue to do well and we can stay here until April 18. We are anticipating the hospital stay with a short stay in Charlottesville after the hospital stay to make sure he is doing well.
Hope is excited to have a princess playdate this weekend and David is doing well enough that he wants to play in his Tball scrimmage on Saturday. As for Laura and I we plan to do some spring cleaning inside and outside the house on Friday if the weather will cooperate.
Please keep my dad in your prayers as he is being treated for pnuemonia in Shreveport, LA. They are also running a battery of tests to determine if there are other issues going on. My dad has congestive heart failure but the docs are worried there may be other things going on. I am so appreciative of my brother and his family because they carry the load with my dad and I know he is in good hands.
As we go through this Easter weekend, lets all keep in mind the importance of Easter in our lives. Jesus suffered, died on the cross, and rose from the dead so that we might have the opportunity to experience everlasting life with him.
Our family wishes each of you a blessed Easter, time with your family, and the peace that comes with knowing that we have an awesome God.
