I love the elementary school where the boys go to school. It has students in grades PK-second and every year they do such a great job celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday! This year the kids got to dress up each day.

Kyle's class had a reader's theater about Famous Americans and Kyle got to be Jackie Robinson! He was so excited to wear his baseball gear to school and have that part. Here he is reading his part.
Kyle, Grace (Helen Keller), Lily (Susan B. Anthony), and Jake as George Washington!!
On Friday David got to dress up as his favorite book character and since he LOVES the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, he dressed up as the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree! I cannot believe his handmade (with a hot glue gun) costume made it all day!!
Here is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Jackie Robinson heading out to school:) Despite the stress that Mike and I had last week, the boys had a great time at school. Their elementary school goes the extra mile to make school exciting and fun. Both boys are having a good time learning at school this year. We are so thankful:)

I love David's Homemade Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Shirt! I think it is so neat that their school has a Dr. Seuss week. When I was babysitting Ava kate last week I saw on the refrigerator about Dr. Seuss Week!
