Despite the crazy stormy weather we have had this weekend this has been a super fun weekend. We were all geared up for opening day of Little League and both boys were going to get to play, but unfortunately there was a big storm the night before and the Tball field was under water. David did not get to play, but Kyle did later in the day. Here is Miss Priss styling at the game in her skirt and flip flops!
Here is my handsome player ready to play his first game of kid pitch baseball. The last two years he has played pitching machine so he was excited and nervous to play kid pitch.
He was so excited to play that we got to the field early to cheer on our neighbor in the game before us.
I finally got a good picture of Hope's curls. Her hair has grown so much in the last month or so and it gets curlier by the day.
First at bat of the season!!! He had a nice base hit but then got out at home plate. I was super proud that he got a hit!!
On first base ready to run!
Kyle's game had to be called before the end due to a crazy bad storm. We had plans to go to our dear friends house for dinner with another wonderful family and we had SUCH FUN!! There is nothing more fun than socializing with friends while our kids play together. I made lasagna and we had wonderful salad, bread, and dessert. Mike chose to eat with the little girls and Grace in the kitchen:)

Hope Madeline is in HEAVEN in Grace's super girly girl room. She has every type of princess, American Girl, and Barbie that you could imagine. Hope had three girls to play with and she had such fun. In Grace's room is a real Cinderella castle from Disney that Hope loved. I will have to get it for her when we go to Disney in September.
I love Suzanne and her sense of humor. She makes a great chocolate chip pie that my husband loves. She served Mike's with a smiley face and her hubbie's with a heart made out of whipped cream!
Dave and Olivia playing air hockey!
Dave just hung on to Grace when it was time to leave and insisted that they were on a date. I love this spunky cute girl!

We love nights of good food and good friends-we are truly blessed that we have several families that we socialize with often. There is always lots of laughter and food when we gather with our friends. It was the kind of evening that you look back on with a smile knowing that your heart was blessed with wonderful fellowship.
