Update

This has certainly been a long day but we have all just clung to Joshua 1:9

Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go

So far today David has received his chemo and his pantanamine via nebulizer. The chemo was very easy today because he was snoozing when they gave it to him via a push in his IV. The nebulizer was very very traumatic for us all and we are going to find an alternate way next month. He got so upset that he started wheezing. The nebulizer medicine is to ward off the scary pneumonia.

We do have to brag on our boy and say that frankly he rocked his CT scan. He was so cooperative that sedation was not necessary and they got great images. I laid on the bed with him and Mike held the IPad over his head and we played Talking Tom.

We are choosing to hang out here until we know the findings and to hear the game plan. We are praising God that the CT went well and that the vitals all looked good. He has even put on two ounces!!!

We are clinging to our Rock Star and our Savior this afternoon here in the clinic. Thanks for the prayers, love, emails, and texts. They have really encouraged us through this long day.

  2. Have been fasting and praying for this day to go as smoothly and with as little physical suffering as possible for David as he goes through the uncomfortable testing process, and for the Lord to strengthen and uphold his parents as they endure the waiting. Praying for the Great Physician to give the drs wisdom and knowledge they don't have so they will know the best way to fulfill Gods will. Praying for a life of health, healing and wholeness for David. Psalm 27:13-14 "I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait upon the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;Wait, I say upon the Lord". My footnote says that "to WAIT on the Lord is to demonstrate confident expectation. The Hebrew word for wait may also be translated as "hope".to hope in God is to wait for His timing and His action. So I pray for His will, His way, His timing over David....and blessing, no matter how small, to be pressed Dow, shaken and overflowing. Kelly Marchant's cousin, Karin
